Installation took about 40 minutes. The installation process is not complicated: remove the air duct panel, climate, take out the GU unit and remove the screen. 8 Torx 20 screws. And then pull through only two cables to the monitor – USB and main cable. Connects through the adapter main GU Plug & Play. Nothing to cut, solder, etc. is not necessary. Microphone works regular, bluetooth, etc.. Did not even put the speaker. The only thing I used NOT regular – GPS antenna. Its placed under the dash.
Sorry in advance for the quality of the installation video, it was worse than expected, but it is… Well, at the end of the installation I got NO SIGNAL from the car system, see above for reasons.

GPS finds instantly and leads clearly (initially there were problems, but you need to configure the system correctly – in air mode to run a GPS test with clearing A-GPS data, then leave the wifi off, set the date / time on the network and there will be no problems). On rare occasions people have had problems, and have plugged in the regular GPS antenna. But I think they either didn’t fine tune it, or the antenna was tucked under the iron.
In general, the head can work as a wi-fi router and distribute the internet. It has a carplay (but why it is not clear). If you do not want to insert a sim card and pay for the tariff – can receive the Internet from a smartphone via wi-fi. There are two USB slots. You can connect other devices or flash drives with music / movies.
Of course you can use any android software – YouTube, ivi, Strelka (camera app), coding/tuning, TV, serials, browser, Yandex.Navigator or similar and so on.
The quality of the screen is excellent. IPS, wide corners, anti-glare coating (not the bollocks which the NBT Evo, and the normal).
For those who do not have in the car bluetooth, cameras, parking sensors, pressure sensors – a feast. All you can buy cheap and connect to android. Even the recorder is available.
